What are the regulations for ?

On the French side of legislation, Act No. 2014-1545 of 20 December 2014 (Article 54, OJ of 21) simplified to an extreme the obligations of an organizer of games or contests. It has, among other things, abolished the obligation to file a regulation with a bailiff when organizing a game with a lottery, replacing it with a criterion of loyalty to the consumer.

However, it is strongly recommended that you have a regulation for each game, especially when you offer rewards, regardless of their form and conditions of award (number of points won, random draw, timing):

The regulations first serve to explain to the participants the rules of the game: must they answer all the questions, how to answer them, ....

They are used to indicate whether there are restrictions on rewards or not (purchase obligation or not ...).

Finally they serve to protect you from potential disputes and to discharge your responsibility: contestations of all kinds, failure of your server or the participant's connection...

When the participant starts playing, he is supposed to have read and accepted the regulation.

This is indicated to him next to each Play button, the regulation being accessible all the time by a link that opens it in modal window.
