For quizzes, surveys and contests:

The presence of the left and right columns is dependent on the parameters:

Left column in the dedicated quiz pages: On or off

Right column in the dedicated quiz pages: On or off

Display a general block, listing quizzes, surveys and competitions whose block option is activated in the list of forms

Display a block in the left column for quizzes allowed to appear on it: On or off

Display a block in the right column for quizzes allowed to appear there: On or off

Display a block in the home page for quizzes allowed to appear there: On or off

Display a block in the footer for quizzes allowed to appear there: On or off

For faq:

In addition to the above options which are identical, for faq, 2 additional options are at your disposal.

This is the option Enable Search in Faq :

This adds a search field at the top of the Faq page.

This search is based on the keywords entered in the general configuration of the form as well as those entered in the configuration of the questions.

In addition to the keywords, the search is carried out on the tittles or contents of the headings, questions and answers.

A word is considered keyword in a content if it appears at least three times, only the signifying words are retained.

And Enable Ajax loading in the dedicated page:

If you answer Yes, the questions and answers will be loaded on the same page without having to reload it.

Iframe :

Allow or not the iframes in the contents of the html editors of the questionnaires, rubrics, questions, answers, treatments.

This parameter is decorrelated with the iframe parameter of Prestashop (General Configuration).

Pop-up :

Allow or not the automatic opening of a modal window (in pop-up) on the My Account and Order Confirmation pages listing the links to the quizzes, surveys, contests or faq allowed to appear there.

When it is opened (automatic), a cookie is installed on the machine of the user.

The field Frequency of the pop-up allows to regulate the recurrence of this opening, by default 7 days, that is to say that once opened to a customer, this window will not more open for 7 days.

You can lengthen or shorten this frequency according to the rhythm of your creations.

Default Images:

These images appear as pictograms of the blocks (left, right and home page),

As well as in individual blocks and dedicated pages if you chose not to add individual image to the questionnaires.

You can of course replace these images by downloading your own images from your computer, the original images will then be replaced by yours.

If you do not want a default image for any or all types of questionnaires, simply indicate it by clicking No in the corresponding options.

Cron Task:

A Cron job is a job that the server will perform repeatedly at scheduled intervals.

The functions performed by this task are (for the module):

The activation of questionnaires whose automatic start option is activated and whose start date is equal to date of the day or exceeded.

Deactivation of an expired questionnaire (the end date of which is reached or slightly exceeded).

Quizzes will no longer appear on the front office.

Participation in surveys will no longer be possible but they will continue to appear if you have allowed the display of the overall result.

Surveys should therefore be manually deactivated at your convenience.

The automatic processing of contests whose automatic processing has been required by you in its configuration and not stopped voluntarily.

Participation in the competitions will no longer be possible but they will continue to appear pending publication of the results.

Contests should therefore be manually deactivated at your convenience.

You have 2 options to perform this Cron task:

The Visit option:

Each time a user arrives on your site (or shop if you have activated the multi shops), the script is launched and the functions are executed if necessary.

The disadvantage is that the script is often launched even if it has nothing to do.

Another disadvantage is that if there is no visit, the script is not launched.

The Configure Cron Task option on your server:

It is of course more suitable because you will configure a launch according to your needs (from 1 time per hour to 1 time per month, depending on the questionnaires you have created).

This configuration depends greatly on your server and especially your type of hosting.
